Sharon Dougherty is the CEO of Priority Coaching, the executive coaching and consulting firm she founded in 1998. She is a much sought after executive coaching and leadership development expert.

Sharon works with CEOs and senior executives in leveraging their strengths to build their leadership effectiveness and business savvy. She partners with her clients to assess their leadership capabilities and develop action steps to achieve desired growth and change. In her work, Sharon draws upon 25 years of experience as a senior executive and CEO in behavioral health services. Her business acumen and expertise as an executive coach provide the basis for guiding leaders as they develop greater self-awareness and enhanced relationships with others. Sharon also supports leaders in the deeper learning derived from the exploration of both successes and setbacks. Before starting her coaching career, Sharon was the CEO of Priority Employee Assistance Program, a nationwide company that provided mental health services to employees of major corporations, healthcare systems, law firms, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Clients included BMW; Colgate-Palmolive; Dun & Bradstreet; Estee Lauder; Fortunoff; Interpublic Group of Companies; Joseph Seagram & Sons; Merck; Pantone; Pfizer; and Volvo.
